Consumer complaints, 1966-1994.

Correspondence and investigative reports, 1966-1970, on consumer complaints of deceptive sales practices and advertising of appliances, home improvements, correspondence courses, automobiles, and other merchandise, filed with the Division of Legal Services. Starting in 1969, record of consumer complaints filed with one of the fourteen state and local governmental offices, are entered in the Cooperative Consumer Protection Data Bank maintained by the state Department of Justice.
